Profile :
The essential responsibility of the Senior Analyst is to perform analysis on various aspects pertaining to the company’s Loan Servicing business.
Position :
Sr. Analyst / Analyst
The essential responsibility of the Sr. Analyst / Analyst is to provide advanced analytical support to the company’s Loan Servicing business and assist the senior management in making various business decisions.
To accomplish this, the Information Sr. Analyst / Analyst must :
- Aid Management in decision making through quantitative analytics related to Loan Servicing Business.
- Provide ad-hoc analytical support.
- Effectively communicate the results of the analysis to the internal / external clients.
Summary of essential job function :
- Pricing of Mortgage Servicing Rights (MSR) and Whole-loans.
- Projecting prepayments, delinquencies and advances.
- Maintain and enhance statistical models to score the existing borrowers on certain key risk characteristics.
- Periodically, update the various inputs and assumptions of the Pricing Models. Make necessary enhancements to the Pricing Models.
- Assist in other ad-hoc analytics projects
Minimum Requirements :
- Total work-experience of over 4 years
- 2+ years of experience in Financial Analysis, preferably related to Mortgage Servicing business
- Proficient in the use of SQL, VBA, Access, Excel.
- Experience with statistical tools (e.g.: SAS, SPSS, Minitab etc.) is preferred.
- Graduate degree in Business /Accounting /Finance /Economics /Statistics /Mathematics /Engineering.
- Post-graduate degree in Finance – MBA (Finance) / PGDBM / CFA
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
